homeless. . . sleeping in car with daughter around k.c. mo.
I have 1 daughter who is 17 yrs old. I have been widowed for 16 years last Oct. 6th. I am used to doing everything all by myself. I have barely scraped by, but I have managed to keep a roof over our heads & something in our stomache . . . until now. I photograph for a living (which I LOVE doing.) My house was robbed this last summer. All of my photo equiptment was stolen. (Which makes it difficult to get photo jobs.) I have managed to pay the rent up until Oct. Since then, my daughter & I have been living in our car. Raising my girl all by myself makes for a meek Christmas to say the least. She doesn't really want anything . . . just a place to lay her head, next to her mom. She crosses her fingers that it's not the car. She is an amazing girl. I am so lucky to have her in my life. K.C.
